ts). Preferably the stay from Sunday (arrival) to Saturday/Sunday (departure) then the walks can take place during the week so it will also be very quiet in the hiking areas and we are usually the only ones. Most walks can therefore (if desired) be walked completely or largely exposed. These

walking holidays can be booked in spring (April and May) and in autumn (October and November). There is a minimum participation of 4 people and a maximum participation of 8 people. After all, we only have 4 accommodations with double be

ds. Short walks

For lovers of the short walks we have several short and medium walks in the immediate vicinity of Casa de Cinco Hermanos. Most of these walks can be done without clothing. In Spain, it is open to be recreated everywhere (see the page 'Naturism').

About 20 kilometers from our house we found a beautiful hiking trail. This route leads along the Rio Chícamo. For the most part, this river is a protected nature reserve. However, walking and recreating are free. The route is about 12 kilometers long and is easy to walk, even for the less experienced hiker.

Canal de la Rambla Salada is a downright surprising walk. It is a route that starts along an old irrigation canal. After a walk over and past old aqueducts you come to a stream that has a saltwater source. The effect of this saltwater stream is nothing short of fascinating. The water is saltyer than in the Mediterranean. The salt is located along the banks of the stream and forms an almost magical landscape of green, red and yellow rock with the white salt as a contrast. Trained hikers and mountaineers can walk through this gorge where a number of steep slopes have to be climbed by chains, stairs and cables. Less experienced hikers can use a loop back along the stream to the starting point of the walk.

The Sierra del Carche has many Barrancos. A barranco is a more or less deep gorge through which, in heavy rain, water flows through. Some of these barrancos are accessible. Recently we explored a number of barrancos and made some spicy but very nice walks. In the coming days we will continue to explore in and around the Sierra del Carche.

In the valley south of our house, we have now plotted several walks. These walks have a completely different character than the walks in the Sierra del Carche. The landscape is more rolling and offers beautiful views almost everywhere.
