Biking in our region

For bikers we plan to do the same thing as we do for walkers. There are several biking trails in our region but just like the walkways, they are poorly marked.
We have to make a start exploring these routes.

Biking is relatively easy in the region. There are nice sloping valleys for recreation biking and steep slopes with tracks for mountainbiking.

In Google earth, lots of biking-tracks are available.
To display the routes search in the left-hand lower corner of Google Earth in "Layers." As you open
the folder 'Gallery' one can select the layer "Wikiloc". Then you can see all sorts of icons for hikers and cyclists in our region. When you open these routes,
you can view and display them in Google Earth.

Please note: Not all web browsers fully support the use of Google Earth Placemark files. Mozilla Firefox does, but Internet Explorer not always do. If you experience problems opening a Placemark file, download it first to your computer (right-click + save) and open it from there.
